Candle Refill Care
WARNING: TO USE OUR REFILLS, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ONLY USE VESSELS PROVIDED BY KILIMANJARO CANDLES & MORE.
When to refill?
Once your old candle has about ½ inches or 1.2cm wax left on the bottom, it’s time to refill.
How to refill?
Once your old candle has about ½ inches or 1.2cm wax left on the bottom, it’s time to refill.
- Find a heat proof container, then pour HOT not BOILING water into the container, then pop your candle vessel in.
- Wait until the sides of the wax has started to melt then pop out the wax. PLEASE DO NOT POUR ANY MELTED WAX IN YOUR DRAIN! Put it in your litter box instead.
- Wipe any remaining wax thoroughly with a dry kitchen roll. DO NOT SCRAPE ANY REMAINING WAX WITH A KNIFE OR SOMETHING SHARP, AS THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GLASS. If there is still wax visible, repeat step 2.
- Use warm soapy water to clean your glass with a soft cloth. DO NOT USE HARD ABRASIVES!
- Wipe your clean glass with a dry, clean cloth and now your vessel is ready to use.
- Take the refill’s sticker off, gently drop the refill candle into the vessel, press down gently and firmly to ensure that the wick is firmly secured.
- Now your candle is ready to use. Enjoy and Please follow normal candle care tips.
